Why boudoir?

As women, we are always taking care of everyone else. A boudoir experience is the one day that is entirely about YOU, and you deserve it. It's fun, it's liberating, and it will leave you feeling both sexy and empowered. Women come to celebrate a milestone, to get their confidence back, to create a gift for a significant other, or simply to cross it off the bucket list. Whatever your reason, this is something every woman should experience.

Who are your clients?

Real women, just like you. Moms juggling it all. Career women who never slow down. Brides. Women starting a new chapter after a divorce. Women celebrating a milestone birthday, and women who simply decided it was time to do something for themselves.

They are every age, shape and size, and most of them walked in nervous. You'll fit right in.

I want to do this but I'm nervous AF! Is this normal?

TOTALLY NORMAL!! First off, we will start to get to know each other long before you even step foot in the studio. I love to do phone consultations to walk you through what to expect the day of your shoot. This gives you a chance to get to know me and is a great way to help build your comfort level with me. After you book, I will send you a prep guide so you feel fully prepared for your shoot. Lastly, I am always there to answer your questions. Trust me, you are not bothering me!

Ultimately, booking your shoot may feel like jumping off a high dive into the deep end of a pool. It's scary at first, but the MOMENT you get going it's like, "OH MY GOD, that was so fun, what was I seriously so scared of?!" You just need to have that initial moment of bravery and book your shoot! Then I just ask you to relax, have fun and let me take care of the rest!

Where are you located?

My studio is located in Northern Virginia and I proudly serve the DC Metro Area and beyond!

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! I offer fully customizable, zero percent interest pre-payment plans. Pre-paying lets you spread your investment out over time, without stress about finances during your session. I also accept PayPal Credit and Affirm.

When do you shoot your boudoir sessions?

I shoot boudoir sessions Monday through Friday, and this is a full experience, not a quick photoshoot! You'll arrive at 9:30 a.m. and should plan to be with me for three to four hours. That gives us time for hair and makeup, outfit changes and a fully guided shoot, without ever feeling rushed. Clear your morning and let yourself enjoy every minute of it!

I have no idea how to pose or "act sexy". Will you help?

You need to have ZERO experience in "acting sexy" or posing. Although the women in my photos look like supermodels, they are all REAL WOMEN, just like you! I will help pose you from head to toe, I walk you through every pose by showing you first and I even help with your facial expressions! I will show you images on the back of my camera as we are shooting so that you can see that you are killing it!!

What do I wear?

After you book a session, I will send you a welcome email with my Boudoir Prep Guide, which includes lingerie shopping tips to help you find the perfect outfits!

In addition, you will have access to the Honey & Gold Client Closet. This closet is forever growing because I *may* have a shopping problem! The Client Closet consists of over 400 pieces from XS-5X and even includes body jewelry.

Is hair and makeup included?

Hair and makeup is included in all of our boudoir shoots! I believe that it is very important for you to feel pampered from the moment you arrive for your shoot, and having your hair and makeup done is a great way to do that! Our amazing glam team can help you complete your look, whether that's "I just woke up like this" or full glam! You can bring in ideas or inspiration pictures for your makeup and we can try to match that look!

If you choose to not take advantage of these services, the booking fee does not change. I promise you're in great hands! Let yourself be pampered for a day!

Am I required to go nude?

NOPE! Everything is based on your comfort level! Prior to your shoot, I will send a questionnaire which asks about your comfort level in terms of lingerie and nudity. I shoot everything from more comfy looks and implied nudes, and if you decide you want to bare more, we can totally do that too!

Do I have to share my images online?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! There are 3 model release options that you sign after your session. While many women feel amazing and want to show off their pictures to the world, there are also others who choose to keep their images entirely for themselves and that is totally fine! Your privacy is of utmost importance to me!

I love when clients allow me to share their images because it helps empower other women seeing everyone rock their sessions, but I also respect when you don't want me to share at all! This will be entirely up to you!

What types of products do you offer and are digitals included?

We offer a variety of gorgeous products including luxe albums, beautiful metal wall art, prints, digitals and much more! There are many ways to get your digital files. You can choose a premade collection that includes all or some of your digital files, or purchase one of our digital collections.
